White Hat SEO involves using techniques that are ethical, transparent, and in line with search engine guidelines. This includes things like creating high-quality, relevant content, optimising website structure and metadata, building quality backlinks, and improving website accessibility and user experience.

On the other hand, Dark Hat SEO involves using techniques that are unethical, manipulative, and in violation of search engine guidelines. This includes things like keyword stuffing, link spamming, cloaking, and other practices that are intended to trick search engines into ranking a website higher than it should be.

As a designer and developer of high-quality, prestigious websites, I strive to use White Hat SEO techniques to improve the visibility and ranking of my clients' websites. I believe that this approach not only helps to ensure that my clients' websites are seen by the right people, but also that the traffic that arrives at their websites is of high quality and is more likely to convert into revenue.

One of the reasons I favour a White Hat approach to SEO is that I have seen first-hand the negative effects of Dark Hat techniques.
